Asean selection test

7.30a.m.
Early in the morning ....
Still feeling sleepy , i had to wake up and got myself prepared to go to the
ASEAN selection test.
Going with my friends , we just hoped to get more experiences as we knew the chance obtaining the scholarship is very low , even it was hard to us to pass the selection test.
However , some of my friends were still very confident la...
Undoubtedly they are really apt in Mathematics and English marrr, not like me just know to memorise, memorise and memorise!
But , I think that the most worried person is definitely not us , but our parents.
Of course, my parent did not worry me much la, they just allowed me go with my friends.
10.30a.m.
What I meant was when we arrive there , all the candidates were surrounded by their parents. Even they parents started to asked us about what we knew about the test .
Actually we did not have any idea about the test .We just knew that we had to sit for the English and Mathematics test in an air-conditioned hall.
12.45p.m.
After waiting a long time to get ourselves registered, we walked into the hall.
There were almost 400 candidates sitting in the hall, but it was still very cold , i was almost friezed by the cool air.
1.00p.m.
The first paper was distributed.
Only 25 questions.while i was doing the first question, i thought the paper was too easy for me .However, i stuck at the third question, then it took me a long time to think about it ...
Too hard for me ...
I think i only have done about ten questions.
Meanwhile, I shivered with cold!
4.00p.m.
The English papers were dispatched to all the candidates.
The first part was COMPREHENSION
Almost ten paragraph and it comprised of three pieces of paper.
The first question asked us to give the meaning of the phrase and the word.
For instances ,
1. What is the meaning of
(a) hostile (b) shrewd (c) unflattering label .......
I think, it maybe easy for those who are advance in vocabulary la.
But to me ^_^111
5.30p.m.
Part two : Write an essay about 350 words within 30 minutes
Writing a argumentative essay.
I had chosen one of the two questions and begun to rush...
The time was too short for me to write such a long essay..
Anyway, i was able to complete the last word when we were asked to put down our pens.
So, for those who are wiling to apply for ASEAN scholarship, be well-prepared
hahahaha.....
